Daylilies

Daylilies originate from Asia. They are a member of the Hemerocallis genus and the Hemerocallidaceaefamily. Many older works placed them Lily family known as Liliaceae. The word Hemerocallis is derived from two Greek words meaning "beauty" and "day," referring to the fact that each flower lasts only one day.
