Yellow Bearded Irises

Bearded irises have a fuzzy area on the lower petal of the flower. Here two bearded yellow irises dispay their vibrant color. Iris is a genus of flowering plant with attractive flowers containing between 200-300 species. It takes its name from the Greek word for a rainbow, referring to the wide variety of flower colors found among the many species.
