Mount Humbug and Oregon Coast from Port Orford in Infrared

Port Orford is located in Curry County which is the southern most coastal county in Oregon. Port Orford has spectacular views of the ocean. Fishing boats can't be moored in the harbor because it is unprotected from southerly winds. To the south of Port Orford is Mount Humbug which rises out of the Pacific Ocean...This is an infrared image which captures light that we cannot see and turns it into a visible image. Plants like flowers and grass reflect more infrared light and appear brighter in infrared images while the sky reflects less making it darker.
