About Creation Light Photography
Welcome, my name is Mark Eppley. I currently live in Southern Oregon and enjoy being close to the mountains and ocean again after living in the Midwest for many years. Photography has been a part of my life as long as I remember. At age 10, I saved up 0 for my first point and shoot camera, an Olympus AF-10 Infinity Jr. While in college, I purchased a Nikon SLR for a trip to the Holy Lands. I took over 1,000 pictures during the trip - all on film. I remember the tedious process of putting the film in a lead-lined bag to protect it from x-rays and the countries that wouldn't hand check film.
I enjoy capturing the beauty of creation all around us from nature to the beauty of family and relationships. I am fascinated by light and science. I enjoy trying out new things and sharing images that make one pause in awe and take a break, if just for a moment, from the busyness and distractions around us. While my landscape and nature work is mostly presented on this site, I am also available for portraits, weddings, and commercial photography.
I hope that you enjoy the photographs I have presented on this website. After taking pictures for my own pleasure for many years, it was time to share my art with others. My desire is that you find an image that causes you to see just how magnificent the universe is and how great is our God.
